Thank you for taking a look at BeerInn Photography! This site is still new so many updates are yet to come.
A little about me: I’m an aviation enthusiast. I am also a student pilot. Being a diabetic makes it a lot more of a hassle to get a medical clearance from the FAA for your Private Pilot certificate so I am going for Sport Pilot. As a sport pilot I will have some limits compared to a private pilot. Things like: only fly light sport aircraft (LSA’s), max aircraft weight is 1,320lbs (that includes people, fuel, etc.), 2 seats max, fly with 1 passenger (tough to carry more if there are only 2 seats), the list goes on but I won’t bore you with all that. The photos of the various Van’s RV-12 airplanes are the ones I do my lessons in. They are a blast to fly but they don’t love wind very much due to being light. These RV-12’s weigh less empty than my Harley did!
I also enjoy taking photographs and wanted somewhere for people to see them. Although I love pretty much everything that flies, I have many other hobbies and hope to share photos as often as possible.
BeerInn Photography may seem like an odd name to most. BeerInn came from having my last name mispronounced over many years. The actual spelling is strange to most and most people say Biren or Baron. It wasn’t my idea to come up with BeerInn in all honesty. I owe it to my uncle Dave, who told my dad that he should name his boat The Beer Inn so that people would know how to say our last name. It is actually spelled Bieren and it’s a Dutch name. I always tell people that bier is German for beer (look at a Beck’s beer bottle).
I am a new WordPress user, so please be patient and check back for updates. Thank you for visiting. I look forward to adding many photos in the near future. I hope you enjoyed the site and more importantly: I hope you have an incredible day!
Bye for now! That’s one of my instructors waving as they taxi by, taking another student out for a few hours of fun.
